Demitri C. Kornegay is a Sergeant with a police department in the
Washington Metropolitan area. In addition to making sure everyone in our society is treated fairly, he is also a Deacon at our Church. Demitri is proof that there are good men that don't pause for the cameras. They're too busy making the world a better place.
I was delighted and pleased to honor a man who has been an inspiration in my life. A man who has been by my side for 13 years. A man who has been a dream come true. A man who has gained the respect of his community, his church, and his family. A father of four beautiful children and a grandfather of twelve wonderful children.
